Best way to style this list?
Posted 21. april 2006, 12:05 [Edited 21. april 2006, 12:10]
I was recently asked to style what I first thought was a quite simple list, but it came out to be a bit more complicated.
Ideas are welcome, please respond by comments here or by email.
The list to style, with two examples by me.
This is getting really funny. First we have the issue about what is correct to use. A table or a Definition List, the responses so far from the people I’ve asked is about 60% DL and 40% Table.
And then we have the problem of how to style the DL the best way.
I’m looking forward for comments on this.
sorry for offtopic, but on “about” page 404 error.
Question: what plugins used on this blog, and color theme. can i download theme?
Hi Artemiy, I have updated the colophon of this website with an updated list of the plugins I am using.
I am sorry but I do not offer any template of my website.
Hi Johan,
how did you achieve that a name isn’t linked to the given email-address if no website is specified, but the website is linked if specified?
That’s what I’m searching for to use the gravatar-plugin. I don’t want to print the email addresses of my commenters.
TIA, Manu
Hi Manu,
I am using the glx_gravatar plugin, and under the advanced options in textpattern I have set “Never display email?” to “yes”, I guess this will do the trick for you.
Good luck
